But a seized motor ended those days back in October. My cherry '01 superjet has been sitting on a stand ever since. Back when I broke it, I had never done a backflip or barrel roll. I had JUST learned to do nose stabs.

Well this last weekend Ryan (Runaway) let me ride his Superjet. All I really wanted to do was try to roll a standup. I made it around on my first try, and I was super stoked :Banane01:. But then I fell :frown:.

Short story long....I've been inspired to get my superjet running again. After a little confidence building excercise with glassing my blaster transom, I'm ready to tackle reinforcing the SJ. She's almost completely prepped in the engine compartment, and I just finished hacking a few inches off the stock pole.

I'll try to get some pictures soon. Thank you Ryan for helping me get off my ass and get started on this thing. Thank you Ross for building a Superjet at the same time. Thank you to the rest of the crew for various tid bits of advice when I need it.

Hey, if you hadn't pulled the postive battery terminal apart like the hulk.....we could have blown it out at least. :Banane36: :Banane36: :Banane36:

And you are right, I have also flipped a standup....which I'm anxious to do again. Before long, I'll be going both ways....rolling and flipping standups and sitdowns alike. Yeah, I'm a big hairy stud. :cool2:
