    Just to add, I love mine also, pain to build but damn fun to ride...

    I would also buy the spring setup, wonder if it could be offset some to ease pressure on the tubes? The bolts could also have indexing pins if needed.

    Hey another option might be this mounted directly under the pole, cylinder pivot just behind the breather holes and a ball mount up the underside of the pole so everything clears the hood. I took some rough measurments and it looks doable, just need to calculate the lift force needed to balance the pole out. http://www.mcmaster.com/#gas-springs/=jah53i I was looking at 4175T4 stainless
