    The B.O.B. Hull

Decided it's time to release our new project hull: BOB.
'Backflip On a Budget'. Our prototype hull was doing backflips on a limited set up 701. 2 of our pro riders were going all the way around in flat water flips, and one of our other guys was nosing them in.

    http://www.thebobhull.com/

The hull is 10" shorter then a super jet, and 3" wider than a super jet. Best hull that I have ever ridden. Moves around so easily, and it's very stable. One of our guys would pin the throttle with a 1200, and it wouldn't wobble.

You'll also have the option of having a Yamaha pump tunnel or a Kawasaki pump tunnel. We have 2 separate bottom deck options, so you won't be able to switch between a Kawi pump and yamaha pump on the same hull.

Projected price is $3,500 for a wet-lay up hull, and $5,000 for a Carbon Fiber hull (Carbon isn't visual), which comes with the hull, hood, hood seal, pump shoe, inserts and tubes plumbed with foam. Pretty much everything except a motor, pump, handle pole and bracket. All standard gel coat colors are available, such as black, white, red, blue, etc. Graphics come standard with the hulls. Standard colors (red, blue, green, etc.) are free of charge. Metallic colors (chrome, gold, mirror lens, etc) are extra. Graphics are optional as well.

If you are interested in purchasing a BOB hull, or have more questions, feel free to e-mail us: derrick@theskiclinic.com

-We are not offering this hull as a 'DiY' project. If you want something different on the inside, let us know and we can do it for an additional charge.
-There is about a 4-6 week wait time for hulls..
-A 50% deposit is required to purchase a hull.
-A carbon fiber hull is not visual carbon. The carbon hull is just giving your the weight and strength. Carbon hulls will be gel coated.
-Flat water wet lay up hull weight is 75lbs. Surf wet lay up is 85lbs.
-Turf installed is an additional $200. That's including 2 rolls of turf, a roll of under padding and our time.
-Hull has a recessed bow-eye bar on the nose.

It is pretty small. Not much smaller then a super jet hood though, still very easy to work on the motor. The outer shell of the hood out of the mould was 2lbs. I believe that the hood with the inner shell is about 5lbs finished.

I'm amazed how many hulls have come out since November for very inexpensive prices by comparison. Also impressed how many hulls have come out that are claiming backflip-able without a ridiculously sized engine. Lovin' the way this sport is going!
    My custom made hull: http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?...eral-quot-hull

You can call a hull yours when you've modified it enough to be happy with all aspects of it.

One thing I forgot to mention, is that the stock yamaha waterbox and stock yamaha gas tank fit in the hull, with room to spare!

It's a great rec hull. Stable like a SXR, but it flips around when you want it to. It just wants to fly out of the water when you hit a set up wake. It's a little bit of both, but it's very comfortable to ride as well.
