picked this hull up 10 weeks ago thought id put some photos up for people to see it. any comments are welcome, have a few things left to do
like the mounts for the waterbox, battery and the tank then should be all go i might have to cut the water box to get it fitting better.
Wow dude that thing is phenomenal. Awesome job. I like the custom tubbies.
cool build, looks very clean. What motor was in it? Also, what kind of pole is that?
The head looks to be a stock 701.
Very very impressive! Keep us posted!!
the motor is just a standard 701 at this stage, will see how it rides then go from there. the pole is just one i've made for the ski was a bit of a pain
but has turned out good.
did it come with a motor though? I'm trying to figure what is in pic 005 with the yam pipe. Somebody had already put a 701 in it?
no it didnt i just put it in to mock it up and didnt have the pipe at that stage
Nice work! How has the hull weight changed since you did all the fiberglass work to it?

Its a long road to wisdom, a short one to being ignored
Very impressive skills. Hope all the hard work and time pays off.

Thats awesome! I so wish I hadn't sold my old 300SX a couple years ago. This looks like the easiest way to do a conversion by far.
Is that a jetski in your pocket or are you just brappy to see me?
Wow man!
im not to sure on the weight at this stage. i will weight the complete ski once its all done i no the 300sx hull was 44kg hull and hood.
im not to worried what it weights i want it to be strong as 90% of our riding is surf.
this is def a cool build. Nice work for sure. How hard is it to get the 701 and yam drive line grafted on? I would imagine all the mounts are different? What does it take to make it work?
