Gen2 BOB build... Finally...

Well....
As a few of you guys know, I have now changed my mind 10+ times on motors, and about 3 times on hulls... So just imagine all the chances in poles, pumps, etc etc... Costly isnt it...

I started out when I blew up my motor in my last hull... Was going to bore it .5 over, throw it together and run it...
then wanted a 61X cylinder...
Then decided big bore..
then I wanted a ported big bore...
Then decided I wanted a stroker crank..
Then realized how much work needs to be done to make that work
Then realized i needed special cylider for it..
Then SCRAP the above ideas, and Called Art at jetworks
First it was going to be a 4Mil stroker 81mm bore, then big bore,
Then HERE WE ARE FINALLY !

88mm big bore 4 mil stroker from jetworks....


As for hull...
Started at my XFT hull...
Then wanted a BOB
Then got a GEn1
Then decided I wanted Gen2/3
Decided on the G2 for a varity of reasons!

So you get the idea... imagine how many other things have changed...

So Heres the real build- Cant say thanks enough to Mike at Optima Racing and to The Ski Clinic and DK1 Designs for all the help!

876 Jetworks Stroker motor
4 mil Billet Stroker crank
62T lower cases- Ported and epoxied
61X cylinder- (Art speciality motor right here!)
Wiseco Pistons
Superbore ADA head

Hull-
Brand new Gen2
BOB pole bracket
RRP pole HUGE thanks to Mike @ optima on this one for the sick red pole!
RRP steering and riser bars
ODI lock on grips...

Pump-
Solas Mag pump with Jetworks A impeller
Carbon ride plate
Custom Intake grate- Started as...Not even sure...
Modified pro-tec trim system for a wicked amount of throw
Bored the reduction nozzle out...



Electrical- I wanted to run Total Loss, but decided not to for a variety of reasons..
MSD enhancer
JSS coil
RAD flywheel
MSD plug wires and boots
Electrical box all wired up MINT by Mark at Rad Dudes- LOOKS INCREDIBLE


Fuel-
All red fuel line
Dual 44 Blackjack carbs
VF2 Reed system- all matched PERFECTLY to the manifold and cases
BWC manifold
Tau Ceti Flame Arrestors


All the other fun stuff-
Custom motor mounts
B pipe
Factory Pipe Watebox
Dual 500GPH bilges
Blowsion Bilge brackets
Billet couplers
Custom Aluminum fuel tank

And tons of other goodies to go with it all....

Damn let me tell you, this got MUCH more expensive then rebuilding a 2 banger and throwing it back in like i first planned... LOL..

Going to be well worth it!!

MOST of inside will be going to the powdercoater for a nice blast of RED.
Black cases and cylinder
Red- Head, Intake manifold, Exhaust manifold, Head pipe, Chamber, Pole mount, All the exterior metal on the thing, pole mount, Fuel tank, Motor mounts, Reduction nozzle, trim ring, steering nozzle, Bed plates, BAttery box, Gas cap... All going to be done a sick red PC.

that about covers where I am at now...

Should physically start building the thing in a few weeks...
Parts will be rolling in over the next week or so, And pictures will be to follow as all the goodies start coming in!!

Money won't matter once you land that first flip. One of the best feelings in the world, and I can tell you're gonna love that set up. I'll be sure to send you a ton of pictures once the hull is assembled!

updates-
Just finished getting all the stuff together,
Heading to drop off my Limited chamber to Mark @ rad dudes to have him shorten it up to a mod chamber specs.

Then monday heading to the Powdercoater and dropping everything off

Sounds like you have a great ski in the works! You will absolutely love the hull! I know we were skeptical at first but within first ride you will love it. Put it this way, we've. Been ridin twice a week up here and only because we are so impressed with the Gen 2 hulls that we are trying to log some serious hours on em. Lookin forward to seeing your build:)
