Either the website admin (me) or the hosting provider (URLJet for us) has to request a rerate on the blacklisting. We are on a shared server, so all sites on that server use the same e-mail IP address as the sender, so it's possible one of the other sites triggered it.

Both myself and URLJet have requested a rerate, so hopefully it gets removed and stays that way.

    Interesting. Not very promising though.

BTW, I'm running a sale on premium ultra platinum x-h2o memberships. $500/first month, $750 thereafter.

No chit, do you remember the link I posted of that other forums membership fees? It was Outrageous! It really shows how spoiled we are over here and what a good job you guys do at running this site and keeping it reasonable, (in both value and culture).

yessir, I am back on my regular email account. Thank you very much.

Do they ever give you any clues as to why they blacklist an IP in the first place?

Yes, but it's just typical spam that came from the IP address our mail comes from, so it's possible it's another site on our server. Our hosting company is aware and looking into it.

One of the things I stumbled upon while investigating roadrunners rules was that they monitor the frequency of emails to a user from a single IP. If we are engaged in a couple really active threads, it is quite possible to get up to 100 notifications in a day and possibly within a couple hours. That has got to look suspicious.

FYI: I registered and never got my confirmation email. checked the spam folder. no luck. changed to my work email address. still no luck. finally changed my email to my apple/iphone address and it came through instantly.

looks like a problem with ec.rr.com

either way, i'm here finally thanks to a quick google search that took me to this thread....
