these are the places to stay on the south end:

    Northwind resort

    torch river resort

    torch groove campground

there's also a inn in Alden, mi but that would be a hike on a stand up to get to the sandbar. There is also several rental homes on the lake.

Torch groove is on the south side of the lake super close to the boat launch (close to the sandbar) and does have beach access. It is located across the street but does have a place you can beach your ski for the day.

I know my brother (sgt jackalope) will be staying there, not sure who else. My folks stay up there every year/every weekend in the summer. Nice campground, pretty clean, its owned by an older couple. So on that note you gotta be respectful and not get to loud at night.

If there is interest. I'll get them going in the next few months. Ill collect money then place the order. (don't want to get stuck with a bunch of extra shirts). Let me know what you guess think.
I would definitely buy a t-shirt. How much you think they will cost?

Ya for sure. Definitely have to be respectful at the campground. Keep the loudness and partying for the sandbar.

Me, moto x, gloryfaded, and probably a few others will be at torch grove. I did hear that they were pretty strict but oh well. We'll make the best of it. For anyone that hasn't been there and wants to party at the campground, you'll find out quick that you'll be more excited to wake up early and be on the beautiful water anyways. I can't wait for this ride and to meet everyone. This place is amazing. It'll only be my second time there, but its going to be an annual thing for now on.

They are not super strict, you can stay up all night by your fire if you want, just gotta be respectful to the other people staying at the campground. In other words, don't be yelling, screaming, and throwing beer bottles at 1am.

And Yes, you will want to be on the water, Even if you just load a cooler up and a sand anchor and head to the sandbar!

For anyone that hasn't been to the sand bar:
there is a burger barge, for food and snacks.
people bring tables for beer pong and other drinking games. It's pretty much a party there specially in July.

Please take a look at the updated first post.

I added some lodging info and I made a list of riders that have said "yes they will be there". Let me know if I need to add or remove anyone. I am still working on getting the best price for the shirts. When I get that finalized I will update the O.P.
