Read and read again. If you want adjustable rev limiter, it needs to be done one way. If you just want to get rid of the rev limiter, it can be done another way. So it depends on what you wanna do. I just order some resistors and pots, I have no idea if I got the right stuff, we will see what...

Just to chime in, my ski runs great, it has a 61x Stator and Flywheel, and a 62t CDI. You just need to make a jumper to connect the CDI to the Stator.

And I agree it's not necessary, I've used sealants with success, but it can always be better/easier.

Do you think it would matter that the gasket thickness were missing?? Its not like adding a timing advance where the the pick-up is moved. I would suspect the spring would just take up the slack of the missing gasket and I think there should still be enough clearance for the flywheel.
