I wouldn't go with an octaine, they don't turn for crap. Look for a 750 or an Sxr or superjet. Any one of the 3 will treat ya right. Ride it for a season then start modding it.

Diegrinder with rasp bits is how I did ours. I got the rasp bits from harbor freight. Makes a mess but looks clean when done.

I'm running a Blowsion sxr spring with my xmetal pole. Using a 650sx pole bolt, just the right length to go through the xmetal bracket.

Yeah ours did it. A simple repaint with your choice of colors solves the issue. :)
