Think Matt talking about the offset washers that set advance at 3 degrees or so?
Yep they are kinda kidney shaped and fit the stator plate perfectly. Just curious I am gathering stuff and those are on my list.

I wonder why he quit they have never failed and work great IMO.

Probably had a big run of them made back in the day, finally ran out and just doesn't care to bother with another. The minimum on something like that is probably 500-1000 pcs.

I honestly forgot all about those but have them on both my skis. I'd buy a few more if they were available.

They were pretty precise so I imagine they were laser cut, doesn't someone on here do laser cutting?

a solution for a non-existing problem is what they were. there's enough slop in the coils, flywheel key and overall assembly that even if accurately cut, those washers could not prevent 2 or more degrees of variations. timing light still the best way. ymmv!

I pulled up pics this morning, they were slotted to allow for adjustment so they didn’t even lock it in a specific position.

I still like them, can’t explain why.

I have a pair now.....getting some made today.

I'll add them to my Delrin AC bushings and let everyone know when they are ready.

I can not explain why I like them either! LOL...just a nice finishing touch I guess!
