Unfortunately, I must post negative feedback about a transaction with forum member Zero Client.
Back in October 2017, Zero Client and I negotiated for the sale of his not running 2014 Superfreak Bada$$. He told me he could have got it running but had decided to sell it as-is and move on. Having coordinated a meet time, I traveled the 14-hour roundtrip to pick up the ski and paid in cash. He was super friendly when I picked up the ski and provided registration, a bill of sale, and photocopy of his driver’s license. As it was the end of the season, he was kind enough to offer for me to let his registration ride until it expired the following year.
After the registration had expired in 2018, I tried to register the ski in NC but fish & game told me that the seller’s signature on the bill of sale needed to be notarized, as GA is a non-titling state for PWCs. At that time, I was busy with a new job, didn’t pursue the registration further, and did not take the ski out at all.
Fast forward to June 3 of this year, I texted Zero Client and asked if I could email him a scan of the original bill of sale and if he would be so kind as to provide another bill of sale with his signature notarized. His answer was “sure” and provided his email.
Nine days later on 12 June, I texted again to ask for an update and he said he didn’t get an email from me. So I emailed him the information again.
The following day, I checked with him again and his reply was “Two notaries said they won’t stamp it without you filling the form and being present. You should try filling the form in, bring the ski w you to the notary and get it stamped.”
Not sure he understood how this process worked, I replied, “All NC needs is a generic bill of sale with your notarized signature. They don’t need the GA form. NC will create a new NC title with your verified signature.”
He replied with “I’ll try a different way.”
Eight days later I asked again for an update and he replied, “No been out of town. I get back Sunday.”
At this point, I gave up.
On December 2, I logged on to the X to find Jet Maniac for their Black Friday deals. I then noticed Zero Client’s listing for another ski. I bumped his post and asked him for a notarized bill of sale again.

Guess what? It worked. It only took me being ugly to get him to do it. From my experience, if you buy anything from Zero Client that requires a title or registration, bring a notary with you. He can’t be bothered with helping out after the sale.
