Xmetal pole with cold fusion steering?

I recently bought a 95 SN superjet hull only, it is set up for free ride with footholds, xmetal pole and cold fusion steering, tubbies, Versiplug, carbon hood, etc.

I am swapping most of the major parts from my 61x/61x 92 sn I bought and have some questions about what it’s going to take to swap my steering, electronics, throttle cable up through the xmetal pole. I was doing some searching on the x and see that the pole has 2 tubes running up the pole? On the bracket I have there is only one tube, will I need to get these tubes? Also, will my stock steering cable fit on this xmetal pole?

Any other tips and tricks removing cables/wiring and swapping to xmetal pole would be much appreciated!

Just run 1 tube. Your bre is thing thru the hood anyhow. You will most likely need a rn cable.
On my 92 sn parts donor there is some type of sealant on the engine bay side where the steering cable comes through the firewall, almost like a rubbery foamy type material. Is this stock or did the previous owner possibly do this?

No idea. Sounds like steering cable fitting in pump was leaking
What is the normal way to seal the steering cable? Maybe I will just save myself the hassle and buy a new RN cable as I am planning on building this “donor” ski for the lady anyways.

There is a fitting in the pump area that has a compression type nut with a rubber seal. when you tighten it up, it compresses the rubber sealing off the tube where the steering cable enters...............

Therefor this sealant that I’m seeing on my cable is not needed if installed correctly with the compression fitting on the pump side I assume...? Thank you will probably just buy a new RN cable
