My latest acquisition. I’ve been trying to buy this rifle since 2006 from an ex coworker. He finally agreed to sell. He bought it back in the 80s from the original owner who bought it from depot for like $10. It’s a Winchester made in 1943 I believe and it is in pristine condition for the age. I’ll get all the paperwork as well as all kinds of extras when I pick it up.

I have one also! Mine has signifigant wear, as my father carried it when he served.
Mom gave it to me after he passed. Its a cherished piece for me.

Definitely something like that you hang onto. I would love to hear the back story of how he was able to get it home.

My dad gave me a 10/22 when I was 10 and I still plink with it to this day. It’s not worth much but it’s a cherished to me as well.

I had a '43 inland M1 carbine for a few years, its was excellent. I only sold it to fund my FAL build. While I still prefer my FAL, I miss the carbine massively. It was a great rifle.

I ended up selling this rifle a couple months ago. I did more research on it and it had a few mismatched parts so it didn’t hurt my feelings to sell it. I ended up selling it to a collector so I know it went to a good home. I’m more of an AR15 and Mini 14 guy anyway.

Ahhhhhh I been looking for one lol. I have a older stainless mini14. It looks cool but only took it out shooting once :/
