Surfriding Whitca's 2015 Krash Predator build

I picked up my 2015 Krash predator last Thursday. I will be running the same Jetworks 5mil 900r and 144 skat non setback mag I had in my q8. I sold off the PFP to go back to a B pipe so I can run a full sized fuel tank and also got rid of the thrust trim I had on the eme (not necessary and I honestly never used it even with flips). This hull is beautiful and built like a tank. I'll update this thread as parts arrive and I get it assembled.

Quick pic while waiting for customs to release the hull.

Updated scupper is now attached with screws to prevent coming out.

looks great!

I see screws in the duct shoe, hope those were put in after shoe alignment. I would highly recommend the cold-fusion alignment tool for easy pump shimming/alignment.

Unfortunately not yet. Still waiting on a grip of parts to arrive to get this underway then it should go together pretty quickly.
Stick a report up when you get a ride mate. Still itching to ride one but just haven't had chance yet. What's the build quality like?

I have been on my predator since August and can't say I have been on a ski that I like more. Carves like crazy, super stable, doesn't feel like a full length ski, but does not feel too short either. Flips and rolls in surf with ease. Feels at home in surf or running through the creeks.

I have never had anyone get off my ski without a smile on their face.

Did I mention this ski carves hard? Love the way you can come down the face of a wave and just carve a huge bottom turn, then come back up and just slash the lip, it slides when you want it to and it hooks when you want it to..

Highly recommend trying one out

I'm riding sunday and hopefullly my mate that has one will show up (He's had loads of motor trouble lately). I'm a Rickter man and i know the Rickters are well made so the Pred needs to blow me away when i ride one to make me think about swapping over to one. Few lads i know here had the first few and they had some problems with them which i what made me go for my Evo. It looks like Nick has ironed out the issues now. I will say the Krash graphics are way better than any of the Rickters.

Ok so i rode a Pred for the first time yesterday evening and i must say i love how it handles. Within seconds of jumping on it i felt comfortable and it surf rides really well. If i was on the look out for a new hull i would definately buy one.

Finally to a point of getting this going. I panelbonded in some zip tie anchors last week for securing fuel/waterlines. My order from Jetworks arrived yesterday with the rest of what I need to get this assembled.
