I just replaced my Slippery Switch Molded vest with a Slippery Surge Neo. I wanted another Switch but it seems like everywhere I looked, they were sold out of large. The Surge Neo was my second choice.

How are you liking the surge neo? I really like the switch but can't find it in grey in my size

I'll let you know once it arrives and I have a chance to try it out.

The Gray is impossible to find and the Blue is butt ugly with the Orange.

Do the jetpilot vests run on the shorter side? I would like to find a vest that runs on the long side. Long story short I blew up my kidney last year on a back flop Feeling a longer vest would have helped protect that area better

The slippery Switch is quite long on the body which is one of the reasons why I like it so much. It's bulkier than the form fitting jet pilot vests but not near as bulky as the standard neoprene vests like the Surge I just ordered.

I really like the pullover and side entry vests as but I wear a tow rope around my vest and the front buckles work better for this.

The Jetpilot Apex is a good choice , however the neoprene is thick (tough) and a bit heavy compared to nylon vest obviously.

I like that Slippery Array in red and black .

I have been thinking about buying a Burn Industries Red Nitro Vest .... Has anybody had any luck with them or know how the sizing runs ?

I am 190 6'1 and i fit great in a burn red nitro xxl. My buddy who is same weight and height barely fits the xxxl yellow nitro. So it depends how you are built. I reckon to guess s. Africans dont eat like 'Mericans

I have the O'Neill Revenge which is very sleek but nice and long. It even has "Lumbar protection" which might help to protect your kidneys. It also has hidden straps to keep them from getting snagged, and is USCG approved if it matters to you.

Wow I like that switch vest. If anyone finds a place with the black and grey ones in a large let me know.
