Took my exhaust apart today and found a torn exhaust boot. Ski has been down on power lately, could this be part of the issue? Interested to see what you guys think due to this begin the inner boot and the outer boot still kept the exhaust from leaking into engine bay.

duh. that's the whole issue.
dumping major water into the chamber kills power. dry the chamber out increases power.
if you put a T in the waterline going to the chamber, it'll dry it out some and increase power.
put in a new 2 1/2 " coupler and report back

Problem fixed! Wonder how long I have had this ripped boot because my superjet has never ran so good. Sucks it took this long to find the problem, but glad it is fixed.

Not to hijack, but can you expand on this? As I recall my SJ has a hose coming from the head which then taps into the side of the exhaust manifold (and then there is another hose which taps into the bottom of the manifold). The head to side line is where the flush port has been added, if adding another T where would the second line go?

The second line would go into a pisser overboard
