Rickter Mx1 vs. Krash Reaper vs. Waveblaster B1 rockered **FLATWATER** which is best?

I grew up racing motocross - been riding stand ups for years - looking to get a Mx1 , Reaper, or Waveblaster that has that MX feel to it. Looking at these skis from a FLATWATER aspect and leaving out freestyle I know this thread will stir up the brothas. I want to hear the good the bad and the ugly. Which is the best for what reason? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys and stay safe!

You will have to try all three rather that take other people’s thoughts. All 3 skis are soooo different from each other. I have a wave blaster and a reaper. The waveblaster just sits in the garage now.

I would have to agree! I would like to try them all side by side by side lol. How is the hull quality on the reaper? Heard some people in other threads talking not so highly in comparison to the hull quality on the MX1. Thanks!

I can’t speak to the older reapers but the 2020 fit and finish is excellent. The new seat is by far an amazing upgrade.

I just picked up a Reaper about three weeks ago and I have been riding the last 27 years but didn’t get into Blasters and Stand up riding until about 10 years ago. So I am by no means an expert or anything.

But first five minutes on the Reaper I was smiling ear to ear as I knew I made the right choice. From the handling to its low end grunt I am extremely impressed. Only complaints are how the hood straps down, it uses regular ratching straps which is a pain to use. There is no hood shocks, so I ordered my own. The seat mine came with which looks like a motocross seat because of how rough the material is rubs the inside of your knees raw. So I took it off and had it recovered with a nicer material plus I have the green and black version and the seat was purple. So I went back with black and looks much better. Other than that it’s great and those are easy fixes.

I bought a left over 19 at a dealer (RTP)
If y’all keep it up I’m going to end up with all 3 Appreciate the feedback from the reaper guys. I don’t have a lot of people in my area that mess with reapers or Mx1. I would be first I know of personally. I have ridden blasters but not a pimped our rockered one with a real motor. And I entirely forgot about Tigercraft viper! From what I saw that looked super close to a blaster design correct?

Post up some pics of the seat! I zip tied pool noodles to mine to help with the leg bruising.

Here is what I did for the latch see post 48: http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/krash-reaper-build.195623/page-3

I have a lay down pipe to mess with as well. I am hesitant to throw it in this set up because I will be running higher RPM constant. I do not want to overheat a $1500 carbon pipe. Trust me if I can keep proper temperatures then I’m going to run the laydown

I just built my MX1 and absolutely love it so far, today will be it’s first surf test, I’m running a Group K 771, B pipe and mag 148, killer setup. I’m already looking into a Dasa or ET as it could be even more fun on flatwater with a larger engine. I actually found this thread randomly searching for MX1 info as they seem to be a semi rare hull at least in the US. Youl love it man!
