Cylinders need a resurface but look great. Crank is done and will need to be rebuilt. Head is untouched. Case is perfect. Stator was already on the way out and had already bought a new one but never installed. Flywheel is fine. Ebox had some water but I think will be okay. Need to test it.

Good thing you had a ratchet strap, and not a hood latch.

Absolutely great writeup! Glad that both you and your ski survived. You and your ski are both surf tested now. Hope some others will read this and learn.

Seriously glad you are ok, man. What type of helmet was that? This scenario makes me want to switch back to the cascade brand white-water style helmet. But lets start a go fund me fo you and your group to all get tow ropes!
