Yes, I took the factory tubbies off, then cut the ride plate flush at the rear and then “D” cut it. It made the ski ride higher in the front, much looser, much better handling and cut the water in your face to almost nothing. The hull has more than enough built in tubbies without the extensions to be a great turning ski
How wide/deep did you make the “D” cut?

Rode a predator and 50 call at the world finals. Interested in the 50 cal or foot rocket but someone drowned it so took the predator out . It wasn't running right on the bottom so wasn't totally enthusiastic. Told one of Nick's guys when I brought it back and he knew it. While I was talking to some guys nick had got the 50 cal running again and asked if I wanted to ride it. I took it and one blip and turned around and gave him a thumbs up. The 50 cal was awesome. Crisp and clean. I have an older foot rocket so I knew I would like the ski
Just wasn't sure on power. If I walked away after the predator demo I would have been bummed. After riding the 50 cal I would and will buy one in a heartbeat. A lot of bang for the buck. Wish I would have rode the reaper. Was going to but they didn't do it on Sunday. Nick seems like a great guy. Will buy a 50 cal or new foot rocket.

The demo 50 cal was awesome! Nick told me they made some minor carb changes on the '19s and apparantly not having to modify the head pipe opened up a couple more hp. Those that have waited to order for the first set of revisions will be very happy. They will just keep getting better.

Had a nice talk with Nick, very nice dude. Loves to party lol. I rode the 50cal on beginner setting. Very nice riding hull and the motor felt decent, it was only 70 horse on that setting so it did feel like a 701. They had a flatwater boat out there but didnt get a chance to ride it. Very cool company

Yeah Nick is a super cool dude and a party animal for sure.

Some news that may have not made it on here yet. Next year, direct injection on RTP units for 50 state compliance, new graphics, and RIVA is now the US distributor for Krash RTP ski's. They will distribute to dealers.
I’m pretty sure he told me 2021 on direct injection. Or maybe “by 2021”. Riva will be awesome. Joel (Joe?) from Blowson said they are probably going to carry them as wel.

They never said anything about direct injection because I was talking to them about jetting and whether it needed repropped since I am in Montana. I ride mainly from 4000 to 4800 feet. Direct injection would be awesome.
My wife was even commenting on how bad some of the riders were.

Mike Hodges Rivas sales manager said next year to me as well but not the year or model year. The 2020 model, would be next model year since it's October and he had a 2019 model year there already.

I flipped the carbon 50 cal twice. The white fiberglass 50 cal without footholds ripped. I could have flipped that also if it had footholds. Didnt ride the reaper since ive already ridden a bunch. Nick was riding some chick in a bikini 2 up on it while we were shredding the bouy course. Also rode the new predator which has a lot of changes for 2019.
