Knee braces

I’m 49 and have been an avid runner all my life. My right knee is giving me a fit so I’m looking for a good brace to use while running. Any suggestions?

Get a Mountain, Gravel or Road Bike and start riding instead............... I had my 1st knee surgery at 12 years old, 2nd at 27 years......... I was told along time ago, dont run for exercise........ Good thing I was already a mountain biker.......................

Already been riding a bike for years. I have a Cannondale mountain bike I ride a couple times a week in the summer in between my runs. Can’t do the cold weather. It seems like I only have knee problems in the winter. When it really bothers me I just walk for exercise.

If you need a functional knee brace for running I would go with CTI. They use to require an ortho to custom fit you but I think you can buy direct now. Several good moto style braces out there but they're too bulky for running.

orthotech are really nice they look the same as cti but might be out of business now, I've bought a few off ebay really cheap , yea running is stupid, i ran track for 5 years, my knees were shot by the time i was 16,
