Knee Braces

My knees are trashed from years of abuse. No acl, pcl, or mcl in either knee, and OA in both, so no surgery or it'd be bone on bone. Oh yeah, two torn miniscus in each knee. I rock the mobius braces racing in the woods, but they're not comfortable on a ski. Anyone know of a good brace, possibly with padding (cuz, you know you're gonna bail) that works for a ski? Ripping the buoy track is ok for the most part , but I don't feel confident anymore when trying to go big, or just play around freestylish. One wrong twist, or a hard landing, and god only knows how I'm getting back to shore, and worse, how the heck I'm gonna load up.

You make my knees sound almost new! Began to make enquiries on this subject last year but life got in the way. My initial research led me to the wakeboarding community as they seem to share a similar environment to us. Seemed to be a fair bit of support for CTI with anti-migration measures. Probably a logical starting point for your research.

I have a set of EVS, and then had to upgrade to the mobius x8. I use those racing bikes. Haven't tried them on a ski because a) They are not made for the motion needed to board a standup, and b) I don't want to scratch the heck out of my skis. My "work" brace is a neoprene mix, with s.s. lateral supports that are covered in the neoprene. I think they would work, but I have no idea who makes them, and I don't want to use this pair for double (wet) duty.

I'll check out the CTI ones, and the schools (guessing that's the brand?) ones. Thanks, and if anyone has more input, bring it on.
