JS440 compared to a SJ

Hi Guys,

Just after a bit of advice. Last year I moved away from a sit down ski and got a 2012 Yammy SJ. I managed to get up and riding, but found carving/turning a chore and really hard to master. So much so I decided to let it go. Deciding I might have another go on a budget this time and seen a nice condition JS440 (1990). I am over 6ft and around 100kg, will I find this ski anymore user friendly/easier to ride? Realise it won't have the same power, but not that bothered about freestyle etc, just want to master the art of getting about!

An sxr is by far the easiest ski to ride but if you just want to go out and get wet, a 440 will work. I personally have the hardest time with 440's, I'd rather ride a js300 or 550 but I'm pretty fat.
