Well, most know the story, got this ski and Luke(Icerocket) wanted the 701, so I took the ski and gave him the motor in exchange for a modded 650. We through it together with a Coffman Pipe, Vortex Airfilter, MSD enhancer, High Compression head, some clean up porting, ride plate, intake grate, and looks like a S/S impeller.
The paint was kind of gross looking, cool design, just beat to ****, so my parents offered to paint it as a graduation present, so I siezed the moment. I ripped it apart in one day and took it to Crazy Joe in New Baltimore, Michigan the next day, and he started painting right away while I went out of town on vacation. I got to say, I think it turned out GREAT. I absolutely LOVE it, even though some say, "Wow, it sure is green..."
My favorite part is the handlepole.
Here she is, I didnt put it back together yet.
I still have to turf, reinstall the pump, put a new bracket on, and put my re-jetted carb on. It's all smooth sailing from here thankfully, so soon I'll be out on the water. :Banane01:

what did you do with the handlepole, looks unique.

It's called Lectra Finish. You lay down the base color (green), clear it, then sand it down, then degrease it so water just sheets out. Spray on the lectra finish, wait for it to dry. When it dries it crystalizes. You then spray the second color (black) very lightly. Once the second color has dried you gently wash off the Lectra Finish with soapy water. What is left behind is the green pattern you see on the pole.
It's really cool stuff, but kind of labor intensive I did a 550 with it a while ago.

That's a good looking boat man, make sure you get some pictures after it's put together BEFORE it gets it's first scratch.

Turf is done. Came out pretty decent, I got pissed and frusterated a little on the second side of the tray, but it worked out and looks pretty good.
