FJXP's set up a ride at Bass Lake near Barrie - 17th/18th May? Anyone else in? Also maybe let anyone else from the area know of the Rider Group here now. Probably easiest way to get a message out should we try for a few rides together.Mike

Hmm I really have no idea how to get to this thread? I had to go back to my Profile and enter there? How can we make it more excessable to otehrs? I saw you poasted for people to join? But no one has yet? Maybe we should start charging fees? Hah sometimes people want into something thats "exclusive" hah.

As for a logo - I think that'd be a great idea. I have alot of people that could set us up with decals and or tshirt etc should we find something cool to use? The ideas will come once we get a few more people involved.

As for the 17th/18th - what day(s) you going? Your in Scarborough? I might have trouble getting my ski there - I have a double - but my buddy wants it and the two Waverunners on it so I (he) can sell them for me at his dealership. Love them but they gota go. Looking at making a cart/hitch hauler combo - plans are almost done - need to get to machine shop to build it.(but it isn't going to be done by 17th)

Oh as for logo - I like the helmeted/face masked JetPilot look that I've seen around? Maybe a ski inverted? Maybe the CN tower in the back ground?

Ok, I take that back as I thought bass lake was in Barrie but, it turns out its Orilla. So, not that close to Wasaga after all. Wasaga beach can get pretty wavey depending on the winds its fairly shallow though....You guys riding in Pickering this weekend? Are you using wet or dry suits???? Me and the husband my want to head out so again keep us posted:)

Brent ? where are you? Its suppost to be rainy/cold this Fri/Sat. I don't think a ride at the Nuke is going to work. Fyi Mrs.- I use a wet suit 8mm pretty thick(kinda difficult to move my arms with the top on) I'm still in for Bass Lake - thats FJ's baby. I've never been.

HOLY CRAP !! :aargh4: i left for 2 days and so much happened !!! ...

1- My ski is getting footholds as i type :brap: + it's still too cold for my B!@#$ ass...so i would be waiting untill May 17/18.
2- Polar Bear or Igloo LOGO is F!@#$%% FUNNY :Banane35: !! I love that idea...Polar Bear riding a ski ...LOL
3-i won't be riding lake dirty ....i mean lake ontario...lol...my buddy rode there and his wetsuit stinked for 2 years
4-Bass lake is a nice lake, however most of the time is FLAT...BUT because it's small it gets warm fast...so far IF we go it's going to be VJ, Sauble, and me + anyone else...Adam is going to be on vacation i think...Unless everyone wants to go some where else

As for Wasaga beach ...i have never been for jetsking, last time i was there was 10 years ago.....i heard that its too busy and too shallow, also too mnay Geno's with Rims on Honda's :chairshot:( LOL ) ....is it true?

So for May 17/18, i'm not too sure where to go, as long as we have a few people i'm happy ( and please no lake ontario )

1 last thing.....YES you can take a couch to Bass Lake...also ...there is food close by BUT haveing a bbq might be better, i'm usually to lazy and just drive or bring food....as for any friends or family who is just chilling there is a grassy area not that big but enough...( no bench or anything like that, you need to lay a towel or bring a beach chair ) ...it might be best just to bring yourself the first time just to assess the area incase your better half is a bid picky ( lol )
