Ohh I hear you .. but if your garage cart is close to the height of the carrier bunks .. you slide from one to the other. And of course when launching and retrieving the water does all the work for you .. :p.. IM LAZY.. cheers Big Kahuna

That was my thought.

DOT width limit = 102"

Sxr 1500 length = 104.5"

With that being said it's still awesome to see people come out with products that adapt to our sport. I bet that's one beefy hitch hauler.
It was a partially legit question

I get your question.. however We built this carrier due to customers asking for
It was a partially legit question
Yes it was Partially ... That ski is 1 -1/4" over on each side. The customer is relayed this info and it is up to their discretion on use. I believe this individual uses it to move from his
river house (bullhead city ) to the launch ramp .3 miles down the street. The Interstate Highway standards for the U.S. Interstate Highway System uses a 12-foot (3.7 m)(144") standard for lane width

As for the 4 stroke kawi... LOTS of torque out of the hole ...high MPH top end... however she is a FATTY for sure..!. will NEVER be as nimble as our beloved 2-strokes!! I get that the 4 stroke is heavier and a bit bigger as far as the power-plant is concerned ... but why so much length added? Has anyone read about it ? Do you guys think other companies will follow suit ( yamaha.. polaris .. sea-doo? ) Obviously a lot of this comes from the fact that the lakes all over are tightening up on regulations involving 2 strokes. Can a major oil brand concoct a less harmful 2-cycle oil that will not pollute or rather not harm the environment so much? SAVE THE 2 STROKES!

I spoke with the customer and he has a rolling garage cart .. so he simply rolls that up to the hitch carrier bunks and slides from one set of bunks to the other. .... I guess intitially

it had to be lifted to the garage cart but then after that it should never have to be lifted again.

I was at WF in 2016. Was at the Kawi Tent. It ended up being as large because of a USCG Floation Rule based on weight and how much something would float, or would not sink. To meet the requirement the ski ended up being this big.............
