Check valve and pressure gauge? How do I check the pulse line pressure / vacuum?
I have gauges that can be used. What should the readings the be on cranking? Not sure it's this but will certainly try.Check valve and pressure gauge?
I have these so will test tonight. Will update in 12hours.Best to do a standard Engine Air Leak-down Test; that will cover the Crankcase together with the Top End.
Engine should easily hold 8psi for 10 minutes.
Pump the Air thru the Pulse Line that way, the Pulse Line gets tested along the way.
You will need a Schrader Valve or Check Valve (before the Gauge) as part of the Test Assembly to trap the Air inside the Engine.
Hopefully someone chimes in with a real answer but I'm going to purely guess 7psi or 50kPa, based on assuming a 1.5 primary compression ratio. I think you will need a check valve to see these values.I have gauges that can be used. What should the readings the be on cranking? Not sure it's this but will certainly try.
Lol I know, starting early just to finish early to get this ski done. Need it up and running for the amount of rain we’ve hadC'mon it's only 4am in Brisbane...
100%Hope you pressure test the engine after your done.
Had 2 sets of carbs on which both were rebuilt. Same issue.Had this exact issue on a 1100 fixed steer SJ, it's the carbs. Strip, clean , rebuild
