Blaster cutting out when leaning left

Just be searching the forums and someone has pointed out the the coloured lines he was using were too soft for the pulse line. I may replace that too.

Best to do a standard Engine Air Leak-down Test; that will cover the Crankcase together with the Top End.

Engine should easily hold 8psi for 10 minutes.

Pump the Air thru the Pulse Line that way, the Pulse Line gets tested along the way.

You will need a Schrader Valve or Check Valve (before the Gauge) as part of the Test Assembly to trap the Air inside the Engine.
I have these so will test tonight. Will update in 12hours.

I have gauges that can be used. What should the readings the be on cranking? Not sure it's this but will certainly try.
Hopefully someone chimes in with a real answer but I'm going to purely guess 7psi or 50kPa, based on assuming a 1.5 primary compression ratio. I think you will need a check valve to see these values.

The motor has been pulled and flipped, new seals and inspection taking place of the weekend. It's never had seals done in the 6 years I've had it.

Sorted. Replaced seals but this wasn't the issue although still needed doing. Carried out leak down test and was unable to even pressurize the motor due to a BAD leak. Didn't take long to track the problem - the secondary pulse line was leaking past the bass insert. This was installed as I ran 44's so had the 62T case drilled out for the pulse line. Anyway I removed insert and filled with expoxy, ran another leak down test which achieved 8 psi but dropped after 1 minute. Traced this to an uneven Bpipe manny to chamber. Milled flat and tested once again and pressure held for 2 mins solid so ended test.
Just want to say thanks to everyone's input on this tread. I had never heard of a leak down test so thanks again.
