ATP Total Loss TS2

We over here do not reverse jet to avoid lean runaway during multiple tricks - this is caused by poor tuning, the only time we have ever had an issue with that was because the idle was set too high.

The ski's are not being jetted overly rich on bottom for a bandaid, it's simply the amount of fuel they require as they rev so fast.

Ryan, if your boat gurgles and crackles under light throttle there is a transition issue or a setup issue.
What I see wrong is everyone is using the same carbs. Novi, dasa, ext. They don't make carbs with different transition bleeds for different setups and no one changes the transition holes or locations to fit there motor fuel requirements they just change jets and pop off.
Very few dyno motors anymore and I have never heard anyone talk about throttle specific AFR readings.
Personally I think free ride boats should have Intake tumbler on top of te carb to reduce lean stab issues and allow for higher vacuum signals and the jetting would be back down into 70-80's size jets where you can have higher fuel speeds and less dribble. Fuel will atomize better and vertually impossible to have lean runaway condition.

Anyone running the flame on limited 701? Did it make a big difference over an enhancer?
I am . Runs real good no problems at all 10 months, big fat spark been sunk twice engine starts within drying plugs out quickly . running 2 of ATPs curves on a switch not a noticeable difference between them engine just runs hard for what it is . looking foreward to trying it in a stroker motor in the future and playing with some new curves
