I had a AG battery, crapped out after 3 rides in freshwater - i had even put 3M scotch kote on terminals. I allso took the battery apart, same chinese cells as 95% of li-ion 12v batteries.
The past 2 years ive been running a lithium battery from a swedish company "biltema" becasue the offer 3 years warrenty - no questions asked.
Thoese batteries are rebranded in alot of other names.
This is 5Ah with around 290cca.
Works brilliat on my 10mm stroker 1100

I am going on year 4 on my wps featherweight battery in my dvx. Spins over my php898 on race gas no problem. I have also had my relay get stuck twice and drain the battery pretty bad and its recovered both times. I am using the ballistic charger.

Ill look tonight for the dimensions.

which relay are you using?

Is yours a little rectangle black box? If I recall they had a few different chargers back then with different amp ratings

Yes, I think we have the same units... I charged with it today and checked it’s charging amps... it’s 14.6 v and 7.625 amps, other times it was 7.75 so nearly 8.0 amps

I’ll post a pic of mine tomorrow, slightly different looking. It would have been 2014ish when I got mine from AG, shortly there after they moved to selling a different style. I really didn’t trust it because In that same year I was charging my 12 cell from my charging system Chan and the battery exploded. Sent it back to them along with the battery, they covered the battery but said the charger tested fine. I wrote it off as moisture in the battery case. Since then I put it on when I get back from the water, and periodically check battery voltage until the light turns green. I disconnect it, let it sit and settle for a half hour, then stick it back on until 14.4 is steady.

I use the antigravity and when I get them I sand and seal the seam and around the posts with west systems six10 and they last a pretty good while. I also use a msd quick connect so I’m not ever messing with the battery posts when disconnecting the battery.
I went through a couple batteries pretty quick but later found out that it was my starter killing them. I thought I was good since it was a jm rebuilt oem but it was all rusted up inside. Don’t forget to seal and tape the seams of your starter as well. If your starter is getting hard to turn it could be your culprit. I got a couple years out of one and @skinnyman is on his 3rd year

Starter turned about normal when it looked at it while rebuilding motor, once I have this BT monitor on Ill be able to track what its pulling on starts, I have never sealed them but I will for now on. I have a new JM rebuild sitting on shelf so might just swap that in. Harbor mentioned a draw of 180 with a good starter and 260 with a bad one, anyone have exact numbers on what I should be shooting for?

Mine shows up tomorrow, app looks pretty sweet though. Shows your stats during starting, running etc. Looks like you can set alarms as well so you know when it drops too low.
Let me know how it works, I have 3 skis with lithiums, 2 on charging 1 on total loss. Would be good to know before overcharging on the charging systems
