701 FLEXFINS REVIEW

I bought a set of Flexfins from Dave from 701 and installed them on my Superfreak Badass with a 148 H20 set back pump and a PHP898 and man all I have to say is WOW. I didn't think that they would make such a difference. I love my Freak and love the way it handles but I figured I would buy a set of these and see what all the HYpE is! I took my ski out last weekend and it was like night and day I highly recommend the Flexfins! They work great when you land the back of my ski doesn't want to sink it stays on top of the water after landing any trick even if you land little sideways you still can pull out of landing a trick or just jumping a boat wake. I haven't had a chance yet to ride them in the surf yet but can't wait! Fins make my ski Handle so much better its almost like cheating. They also look great on my Freak. Only took me about 20-30mins to install them!

I also let 3 of my buddies ride my ski because they begging my to see if it made a difference and I couldn't get them of it. They all said its so much easier to ride and to land tricks that they had problems with before because its like its more forgiving! They all are ordering a set for there skis.

Just thought I would post up a review hope this helps anyone thinking of them.

Here is some pictures of them installed!

Purchased a set based on the glowing review. Lightning fast shipping, got in on the free express shipping deal, and already have them in hand. Now trying to finalize the positioning before I start drilling into my hull. I noticed on install pics that the position varies on different skis. @mickolobe has them installed at the very rear, while some have them installed a little more forward. Here's the input from @701dave :

"From all the testing we have done on a few skis is that we mount them forward of the transom around 8 to 10 inches. This basically makes sure there is no drag when the arse of the ski buries in on the launch of a flip."

Can you guys that already have them installed comment on the best position for these in your opinion? Aesthetically, I do like the position mick installed them at the very rear. My preference would be to do the same as long as there's no detrimental effects. I'll be installing this on a SFS Circus.
