I really wish I could've bought this motor. It was tempting me all late last summer/fall when I had the cash...we got booted from that house you came to Bryan. Roomate never paid the heating bill hahaha had to move to GR and put my jet ski money down for the new place

Damn man that sucks, Well hopefully that is all situated now and you will be out riding soon. I am hoping to come up that way more this year and ride with you guys.

This is my 95 fx1, a 701 from 97 and as many old school parts as I could get my hands on.

701cc
Twist girdled head
Stock Pistons
Single 44mm mikuni
RN waterbox (aluminum)
Tau ceti flame arresttor carbon pro series
Cold fusion front hood hook

Running 62t cdi
Stock 61x flywheel

I built this motor on the cheap and it rips hard especially in my Fx1, it eats the rev limiter all day so soon test out cdi with rev limiter mod. Problem is I'm running stock pump and stock prop.... Probably will never get a prop for it but I gps 51mph. I do freestyle/ free riding so I'll be cheap ping the pump sooner than later.

Both Brando and I are planning on powdercoating ours then bore and hone to the next size in case their is any warping of the sleeve. I cant imagine they would actually shift while powder coating though; removing the sleeves usually requires the same heat plus some assistance from a mallet. I'm certainly no expert though, maybe someone else can chime in.
