Powell ain't enforceing poop on the ban plenty of stand up skis on the lake and several In plan view on the back of houseboats in atilope marina

I'd like to see a recent pic. Standup skis with 2017 registration running in Lake Powell. Hate to drive from San Diego to Powell to see it enforced

I will post new videos soon the blaster actually makes a little more power than the hydro. Ski runs a mag pump now. It's been in storage for a couple years

I know your on fresh water but make sure to keep the cooling lines clear by flushing. Had a lot of DI's fail at my old shop bc of salt water and people wouldn't flush them. The water passages in the stator cover and computer get clogged easily because they are so small. Once they get overheated it's a pain. Wouldn't go through stators so much but definitely went through computers n also a lot of the sensors on the stator cover. If you ever have trouble with the computer, there is a company called DFI technologies. They rebuild all the ficht computers. Not to bad on price also.

Can anyone tell me if any special tuning is needed for an kawasaki 1100 DI dropped into a waveblaster?
I'm fine with new impellers and such but want to know if I will need to alter ecm fuel mapping and such if I decide to go down this road. This is the only thread I have found on the topic, so I appreciate any info I can get from the experts.

No, just maybe a impeller change. Even the little tune that you could do with the archaic software it doesn't make a huge change. The 1100 DI is definitely not a GM LS engine with the tuning capabilities

search around there is a guy that posted a FI system for the 701 based engines. Maybe it can be adapted to a 550.

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t looking for a anything for the 550, I was just saying I got a warning riding that because of the ban. I’m looking for anything for a Blaster

Then you are in luck the kit bolts right onto a 701 engine.
