Ok. That oil (Ski Craft) contains rust inhibitors. I’ve ran 927 and Benol and had rust later because the esters in those oils are hydroscopic.

What oil did you burn with that crank?

Stick with what you have. That’s what most if not all of us raced with before aftermarket cdi’s were legal. Never heard of an 03’ stator failure either

I saw some SJ’s ones on FB recently in the $400 range. Might be easier to sell and buy then cut, clean, and weld. I’ve done it and that takes a capable machine (amps) to weld.

I’ve only seen them on a few early 1990 skis. Local salvage place has 50+ 650’s and all are 6M6 webs and solid rear. These skis are 1990-1993. Same as the 760 crank with holes in rod versus slot. Just a few from early 96’.
