For those seeking a short and sweet: Purchased TPE 964 used. P&P built and tuned my ski right. The TPE 964 opened up my potential for sure.
I was fortunate enough to find a used like new 964 at the beginning of this season (top end new w/ rebuilt crank). Shortly after I decided to give the...
The used MSD TL I purchased is working awesome. My question is, with my ignition firing at exactly 20* when I'm cranking the motor on the starter, (Verified with a timing light) what is my overall static timing? I currently have no clue.
As per the manual:
"START RETARD
This switch produces...
While I'm totally fine sleeping in my truck at the walmart/target/truck stop parking lot, I'd rather find a room to split with someone. If anybody has any extra space anywhere and is willing to share, let me know. I always bring spare parts incase poop breaks for anybody and I'll bring own cot...
So all three of my skis now take $36 to register instead of the normal $20. Thanks to some mussel prevention bull:-):-):-):-). Somehow I think $16 dollars extra per boat is a bit much. Hell I'd pay $20 extra if they kept the launch ramps in a decent shape and opened up the bathrooms.

I'm a computer geek by trade and I enjoy a good technical challenge. I setup the basics for a database. I'd find it interesting to have a place to easily search common setups. Go ahead and screw around with it for now. I have a bunch of random unintelligible stuff in...
I'm making the PFP plunge. The only reason I didn't initially get it was because of the limited size of tank you could run. I rarely run more than 2.5 gallons but occasionally need to. (Oceanside, Jack London) I'd like to design a bigger one using the unique geometry as efficient as possible. My...
I like tinkering and decided to throw a volt meter on my ski.
I have a waterproof 4.5v-30v meter installed on my chinpad. Here's a link to one on ebay. Or just search ebay for waterproof volt meter and look at the ones that are similar to mine. I ordered from somebody in the US, can get it for...
So, I've been noticing the last few weeks I'm not able to get the fuel tank completely empty by running it as it starts to bog at about 1/4. Meh no big deal, didn't really think about it, it was time to gas up anyways. Now the last few runs It starts to bog on the low end at about 3/4 of a tank...
