Pismo Spring Freeride March 10-11

Still looking for a ski but I will be there on Saturday. Long time ski mechanic and I live 30 minutes away. If you guys need tools or anything let me know and my friend is one of the managers at the local Yamaha shop if you need something I can bring it up in a pinch.

If you are just staying on the beach I wouldn't bother airing down. Even honda Civic's make it fine out on the beach. Now if you are going into the soft sand then Quinc is totally correct. Been doing this for 25 years and never been stuck at Pismo.

Been doing this for almost 30 years and never been stuck. THe key is to be easy on the throttle with full tires and 2wd. As soon as it starts to dig in you are done but that is why we bring tow straps or then air down and you can typically drive out. Yes I am lazy and hate having to make the detour to Chevron on the way home.

We have to do the same thing at Carolina Beach. I've had to air down once after getting stuck there. Every other time I've been okay! We shall see!! Get to use the 4wd for the first time on my new truck!!

I will try to keep you all updated on local weather every morning here....
At the moment they are calling for rain on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with a total of 3/4"-1" of rain. It changes here by the day so don't get too worried yet.

Looking like Friday is going to be the nicest day. Rain is not to bad as long as there is no wind! :)
