Super Jet Next motor upgrade

I’m in the process of building a ported 735 and curious what you guys think would be a good next step.

My current setup: B pipe, vforce reeds, ADA head, msd enhancer, and lightened flywheel. R&D intake grate (not sure what impeller is in it)

Motor upgrades Im thinking about.
46mm carbs.
raising compression and running AV gas.
Possibly +4mm crank
What about going total loss? I’m assuming I can get 2 tanks of fuel through it on a single battery.

Curious what motor upgrades you guys would do with my current setup

The Zeel ignition is an improvement over msd. Not saying that msd is bad, just that it is a better approach.Nice to be able to change the curve to your own preferences. You can also run the Zeel either charging or non.Lots of advantages.

what are you trying to do with the ski as in riding style? also what ski is it going in? not much more you can do to that engine it sounds like youll have it to its max potential. i dont think 46s would be necessary. 44s will be fine. if youre more flatwater oriented then maybe selling the bpipe and getting a laydown would be an upgrade.

Focus on things that can be transferred to the next(larger) engine. Maybe Zeel, maybe good carbs/intake.
Don't spend money on that motor itself.

Thanks guys. I'm planning on slowly improving the power over the next year or 2. Then getting AM hull and transferring the motor.

I'm pretty new to riding and have a lot more time at night to mess with the ski than I have time to actually ride. And I like working on motors almost as much as riding. I don't mind spending some money on this project over time. I ride a mix of lakes and surf in southern California
I was thinking 46s because it would give me room to grow with the motor. Would stock 44s be better though?

3 years ago I ordered some new Black Jack 44's for my 735. Few months later I upgraded to a DASA 820cc. Contacted Art at Jetworks to see if I needed to up the carb size. His response "Nope, stick with what you have, you will be better off".

Well I ended up buying a 760 motor today. I think I'd rather port and rebuild that motor anyways. Anyone have a need for a 735 ported 62t motor?
Listening to your guys' advice and going with Zeeltronics and OEM 44s.

I only suggest the oem 44's because they can be pretty easily found dirty cheap, they're super easy with all of the oem linkage and intake and speed plate setup, and if you decide to later upgrade you can sell them for very little or no loss.
