16' surf Friday at noon. But the storm is coming much closer than Bill did.(according to models) The surge will surely be dangerous. The conditions will be sink-city.
The winds won't be turning offshore until Sat or Sun.
Stay at home. Visit an inland relative. Go to Lake Diaz....(should be 3 to 4') but full of brain eating amoeba.
Play Yatzee by candlelight.
Whatever you do...don't go near the ocean.

Thought I'd get it out there first. lol.

But the models "do" have it coming too close. And I am really interested in seeing what it does to the sand....even if riding is not an option.

Bill was the greatest day in recent memory (around here). It's path with 105 mph winds was a lot closer to Bermuda:
