Can you explain the coating that you are applying to the inside a little more?

inside has been bead blasted and flow coatedYeah, what is "flow coated?"
Thanks for the pics. I enjoy reading/seeing these type of conversions.

flow coat is like a gel coat that you apply by brush or gun it just mixes like resin with the same hardner as resin the only reason i did it i hate seing the inside off the old hull looking like ******** and it is not like paint so i dont think it will react to degreesers and stuff like paint would

I just call it gelcoat :)
Are you using a #2 tip in your gun? I ask because how thick gelcoat is to spray with a regular paint gun. I'm going to re-gelcoating a boat but will buy a specific gelcoat "cupgun" for the job.
As for gelcoat sticking to the SMC bottom...time will tell. But the fact that you sandblasted it should provide good adhesion. I agree that its way better than paint!!

make damn sure you have everything in the hull the way you want it before you top deck it....i.e...do you want 1 scupper or 2? do you want duel cooling,or a trim cable?....but i would do it again...i thought i was fun.
Everything looks great so far , your attention to detail is already showing!
keep up the great work and keep us all posted!

we glued the hull today so i will try for photos later
sanford: i used a spray bog gun with a 2mm tip it worked great just used a little styrene in the mix to thin it to the right viscosity and i dont think that it is gel coat because because that s what my mate was meant to buy for something else and it was not the same some one else might be able to explain? as for sticking or adhering the place i buy my supplys from is huge and they have laboritory guys working for them so i got some tech info of them and they said it would work fine as long as i prepaired it like they told me to with was wipe the area over with isocol then prepsol then sand then prepsol again but i got it blasted so i just did isocol then prepsol then coat
tbone: thanks for the advise but to late now the top is on it already has dual cool trim cable but he only wanted 1 scupper
i have to wait a couple of days for the sealant on the tubes to cure fully then i will put the foot holds in and then i am going to drill the holes for the foam and then fill the back up with water so i can see if there is any small leeks the last thing i want is to have his hull waterlogged then foam he is glassing all the front i have left that department to him he has not bought the front nose mold from steve so i would say its going to be tricky any advise steve?

The problem (for me anyway) is not finding Plexus, but rather getting it in a small quantity. Say, just 2 tubes or 4 tubes (to split with freestylegeek) but all the suppliers want to sell me a case of 12 @ $40 each tube... ouch!$$$ And it will go bad if you dont use it all in a year... and you need the applicator gun... :banghead:

turfing is done now it is just a few minor things then the motor we thought it would of been ready by now but wax had a few dramas with the lamey sleeves so that has put us back a few weeks but i think that is a good thing as we are not rushing to finish every thing properly without forgetting little stuff but its looking good i cant wait to have a brap on this thing i think its going to shock me
