My Macfee virus checker expired and the spam blocker never worked with thunderbird.
Whats everyone using with Mozilla?
I need Virus, Spam,firewall, and Adware protection, Any suggestions?

i use panda platinum, not sure of it's compatability with mozilla, but it keeps my systems clean.

Ya I'm not sure if that will work either.
I know Macfee is out, maybe norton

i've been using norton since I got my new computer and havent had any problems yet. no viruses :27:

I'll let you know if I have any issues with it.

Firefox is safe on its own, use AVG from grisoft and adaware and you're ready for 99% of the threats.

All of that recommended by our own resident nerd, Josh "potato" Chipps...

Don't forget Spybot, it's part of the Trifecta...
Spybot, AVG, Adaware.

zone alarm for the firewall (free version). Maybe not needed, but its unobtruisive and free.

I have Zone Alarm Pro that has spyware blocker. For anti virus I have been using this freebie for about 4 years now and it works well. It's http://www.freeav.com . You do have to update it manually though. Not a big deal. I have Spybot too.
