I hate camping, and even I am thinking about going to this ride again. It's a great beach and very relaxing place to hang out. Plan as if you're going camping in the woods, and arrange a boat launch strategy with your buddies. The launch is a 5min drive away, so a valet is advised.

Our group from Illinois had a killer time out there could of used better waves but we had alot of fun still,warm water,good people nice campground. When the camp manager helped us get a blown up ski back to the campsite he mentioned battling with a pissed off neighbor that hates everything about the camp ground and jet skiers. He also mentioned how he has a town meeting coming up and there will be a pissing match between the managers and this pissed off neighbor. I asked if it would be helpful if we could get people to write letters telling the township how great the camp managers/ campgrounds were and he said that would make a hell of a difference at the meetings and he would love if some people could write in. So if anyone has a chance to write in to them there address is on the website if you can write in ASAP cause there season is over on a couple weeks I think...... Would suck to lose such a nice place just because some jerk neighbor has nothing better to do than ruin other peoples days.

Great time, thanks to all those that came out! Were already making plans for next years event, to make it as good if not better.

As for the pissed off nieghbor, we have defeated bigger issues than just one person to keep this event at the Claybanks, if needed I'll head up to that township meeting and put out some fires. I've already called the "Office" to make sure everything went well with us up there and to make sure were invited back. Thank you SXR141 for bringing that to our attention.

I had a great conversation with Jack at the park yesterday via phone. He said this was the best year he had with us and that he and his wife really enjoyed us all! He said for the park being as full as it was the complaints were way down.

He did mention that all the letters that are writen will be read and noted in the township meetings. Let's give them something to read! Here is the township clerks email address and mailing address, if you have time write them and tell them how great of a time we had, Jack did mention that he did not need praise and that this was directed by the freeriders.

I would 2nd that Chad. Way better odds of getting some surf later in the fall. We may have to do some leg work with the township up there to make sure this is going to happen again. Bruins had been in touch with the campground owners and the township to keep this even going. We need to make this ride happen, bigger than ever!

There was talk in daytona of a ride near Holland on October 15th for Kevin the same way we did the memorial ride the week after. A separate event.
