Server issues/posts missing from Sunday 2/26

Our hosting company decided to change out the server yesterday. That apparently wiped out quite a few posts.

I'm sorry for that, but I was not given any kind of notice about it from the hosting company. So far their service has been mediocre so I'll be looking at moving the site in the coming months.

I have been using two different hosts mostly for client sites, dreamhost.com and onsmart.net. Both have given me good results but I'd reccomend giving Dreamhost a shot first. Besides, they have a 97 day money back guarantee and so you can't beat it (plus x-h20.com will work w/o forwarding :wink:).

If you're going to give them a shot, let me know so I can give you my link and get some credit from Dreamhost (not really sure what they do but I'm guessing it can't hurt).

the site went down last night for a long time around 1220 central time. I dont know how long it was down for.

This is the same kind of crap I had happen to me with my old host.

They will even setup a temporary URL so you don't have to transfer the site over and you can test everything out before making the move.

Please don't take this as me trying to force them down your throat but I've in hosting situations where simple lack of communication caused me to leave and I'm suspecting that's probably the most frustrating part for you as well.
