There are two options. You can put in threw the Coves boat launch or just cart it down the trail. No passes...free launch

If you can't get a camp site, then I would say Sun Suite would be you best alternative. Very close to jet ski cove= no hassle.

Sun suites is a good place to stay. one thing: if you do an internet reservation, call them after a while and vertify that they got it.
The public ramp is quite good and free..

Sun Suites is ok. It seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I think they have a lot of constrution workers that stay there part time now. They will reserve you a room but not the type. They won't guarantee a smoking pref.
That isn't an issue for some people but we were stuck with one last year and just couldn't take it. There are some other hotels in the area that are much nicer. Unfortuanely I can't remember where we ended up staying.

As far as the campground goes parking is limited and you can't get in if your car isn't registered to a site. They won't let you in at all! There is a 3 car limit per site also. Just an FYI in case some of you don't know yet. You just have to coordinate everything so no one gets stuck at the gate.:fing02:

michael - shoreline is all of the above IMO - in the area where BK (45ish) and them were last year it was sandier and a gentle slope to the water.

Where me and AllStock, Parrdaddy and BroncoKing were (30ish) it was steeper to the water and muddy clay bottom with small rocks

A stand is a real good idea at the camp site. Soft bottom, but you couldn't really beach so they stayed put for long.

At the cove near the public launch area across the way there is a nice beach to just pull up.

I'm sure someone can fit you in - I'm full or I'd offer. The limit on the campsites tends to be parking: you can have three vehicles maximum, but when you throw trailers in too it's hard to fit everything in (and they REALLY don't want you on the grass: 1 inch over and they"ll come after you!). There's separate parking for trailers if anyone needs to make space.

Too much traffic putting in/out I'd guess. I wouldn't want to be by the ramp just to put in once and pull out once during the weekend. Most are planning on using beachstands and keeping their skis on the shore I believe.

You never know about the weather in the Southeast around the end of May. It will either be crappy & cold like last year or it will be just perfect in the 80s and lots o sun. Seems like we always get a last blast from a big dip in the jetstream and a cold front makes it cold right around Memorial day. Just come prepared for anything and you wont get caught freezing your nads off. Either way fun will be had by all:arms: :arms: :Banane01: :Banane01:

As far as I know, it's updated, I just added some tonight and have been doing it all along. A lot of sites have multiple people coming, but they aren't listed anywhere in the thread. I know Paul's sites are booked up plus some but have no idea who they are.

Thanks.... It helps to know that we basically have all the sites from #32 to #55 and also #12 and #24. Trying to convince them that the Riot Ride, Riot Dinner, Red Bull tents, etc won't disturb any other campers that may be there that weekend!

Ok maybe I wont pm you, your box is full lol. You will need an I.D. and tag number if your bringing in a car. There can be 8 people on a site and three vehicle's. A truck and jetski trailer are considered one vehicle.You have to give the names of everyone on the campsite to the desk. If your a Guest you have to be out by ten and they charge you like $3.00. If you come by water you dont go through the gate:wink: And It woud be cool for those people that dont have 8 people registered to register people that are not camping but would still like to party at the campsite.

Not really, but if if wont fit on the Tent Pads they have (Tents cannot be on the grass- there is a dirt/gravel area that the tents go on.) then it too big!!!!
