Mike and i picked those skis up this morning from customs in LA
We... well mostly mike put the SJ together from boxes of parts that the customs left after disassembling the motor

That used to be JK's ski back in the day and I think it had dual exhaust exiting through the nose area. It looks like Blowsion made a Carbon piece to cover that whole area. Its the only one I've ever seen

That was the boat with the "bull horn" dual exhaust coming out the nose that was cool but never really worked out. (Also problematic for hood tricks :biggrin: ) I've got this (below) on my ski from nose bashing, as do others. The piece on the orange boat is bigger because of the previous exhaust stuff...

ive seen those nose pieces that tc and luke made. theyre really sick, and work well from what i saw.

The carbon nose treatment is burly. Mine has a "U" shaped channel that goes under the bond line, with the helmet above. Sandwiched togther, it is strong as hell. If I hit hard enough to break that nose, the nose will be the least of my concerns. Blowsion made mine.

So I guess compared to this stuff, none of you would be too excited about my new diamond cut hydroturf sidewall install, huh? LOL!

PS: Do any of you boys have an extra set of ODI grips laying around I couldbuy off you? I stripped my gummy old grips off this weekend and now cannot find the new pair I bought to replace - don't wanna wait for the glue to dry.

when ever i order stuff from Dan at Jet World her always mails it that same day and it should arrive to you by tommorrow (friday) up in Pismo. Just a thought.

I loved JK's orange ski with the bull nose exhaust, that musta looked so sweet during big aerials with smoke pourin out the nose.... droool
