We just picked it up tonight. The ski is super clean other than the previous owner let it sit with water in the motor. :scared: Jarrod is pulling it apart as we speak. I only wish that the inside of the motor could look like the outside of the motor.

Yeah Jesse, were are trying to justify getting a bigger trailer. We figured the best way to do that would be to get another ski:bs2: :scared:
This is a sick puppy though, trying to get the rusty cylinders off. :aargh4:

Just 4     We're not even in the same league as ole Tricky not even close with the fire breathing monster he builds. Well be happy to give this one life.

Well the cat got the carnary this time. It will be a nice little spare ski once we rebuild it! or if we finally get the cylinders off and see the full extent we may even part it out.

Why? All we need is complete crank, gaskets, and pistons. We may even have it running before Lanier:Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01:

Now the FX is running sadly the Squarenose needs a new crank and I just got turf and footholds for it. Rats....:17: I guess three out of four running isn't bad.:frown:

The fx is still running fine. She just left out the comma between the words running and sadly. The sad was referring to the blown crank in the square nose:banghead: :banghead: .Dammourluck.

Looks like I will be riding the FX for awhile, until get a crank for the squarenose. The sad part is I just got new Footholds and turf (thank you BK). :biggrin:in the squarenose. Thought about a temprary motor swap but that is a pain too. It's not like i'm ski less I just want to play with my new toys.

So what is so much better with the high pivot system? I have never ridden a FX1 but seen a few here or there. I know they were built like that. Just curious the difference.

The high pivot system is just some advertising :bs2: that they slaped on the little plastic thing that covered the pole bracket. No better no worse than any other stock ski.
