a week and a half away from the party!
riding can be done at the grand ave entrance and south. this means you can ride next to the site all day long. but, remember that riding near swimmers of any kind is illegal. so please follow the rules and wear a helmet!!

Also, for those who are new to the Pismo Beach area, from the Grand avenue entrance down to the 2 mile marker is day use ONLY. NO non-street legal vehicles are allowed unless you're past the 2 mile marker.

Besides....all the big surf is past the 2 mile marker anyway... ;)

What are the distance rules? From shoreline, other boats, or swimmers

200' from swimmers/surfers/sunbathers/clammers/anyone with a toe in the water........the local patrol have never given us a hard time about riding in the break unless we get too close to any of the above, and are exceptionally supportive of both of these events, so let's play nice and not burn any bridges.

Basically, even if we were there first and some kids decide they want to go swimming or body surfing, just simply move down the beach 200 yds. Since there's 6.5 to 7 miles of clean breaking surf, there's no worries about not having enough space for everyone ;)
