my 1994 fx1, minor builds, but just thought i would share anyway...

over winter installing:
2 500 gph bilges
2 45 degree alum. outlets
new handpole spring
msd plug boots
toggle bilge switch
homeade footholds
new turf
painting plastics
removing old vinyls/ grips/ chinpad and replacing

nothing major just lots of minors.... i also pulled my handlebars and took a polishing kit and my dremel to them. they shined up like NEW

you did a nice job on those footholds. very clean. unfortunately, i think they wont be very effective. they look too big to give support to the whole foot. its not too late to install some real footholds in those gunwales. prefabbed footholds conform to the contours of the top of your feet. comfort level will be the difference between familiar old shoes and concrete blocks.


prefabbed footholds conform to the top of the "AVERAGE" foot... these conform to the top of MY feet, which happen to be size 12's. and in the end if they are a little loose they can always be tightened up with an extra layer of turf on the top...

so i guess we'll see....

Charlie is correct, but hopefully those will work out for you, you can use the underpadding to create some contours to make them more comfortable........
