Moved to Daytona Beach!

Looks like it is finally happening, we will likely be moving to Daytona Beach (area) by the end of the month. Looking forward to riding with some Surf Sluts. Any locals happen to know of anybody renting a home in the DB/Deltona area?

Good for you. There are some crazy cheap beachfront condos for sale there. One was a 3 bedroom for $65000

I used to rent a house in ormond by the sea, bout 15-20 mins north of daytona......cost me 950/month for a 2/2 with single garage..but it was 6 houses from the ocean off A1a

Yes the REV is coming home, Ormond was nice, we are leaning a little towards Deland/Deltona so I could commute into Orlando area if needed.

I wouldn't move to Deltona ....it is HELL on Earth. Houses are cheap for a reason....traffic is HORRIBLE and it just plain sucks.

We are in and almost settled into the new place, still have some boxes to unpack but it is kind of looking like home. She is a little sketched out by the big bugs, lizards and older house so hopefully she can get over it and we don't have to move back LOL.

If you are getting bugs in the house/garage, do yourself a favor and get an exterminator (or learn to do it yourself) and spray the house twice a year. It goes a long way to keeping peace in the household (and keep you sane).

This year...fishing has taken a back-seat to the sj. But it's gigging time now. Time to get some flatties.
