Far from it . . . here is a really good write up that explains what they are and how you can use them to your advantage (there are other sites like Bloglines but Bloglines is a fine example):

It's enabled, and link up on the navbar.

Sweet thanks. I'll grab the link in case you don't want to junk up the Nav bar.
Another idea is maybe setting up an account with Feedburner. They then can generate another RSS feed URL that you can publicize. Then if people subscribe you can get all kins of statistics (and I know everybody likes those).
Just a thought :-D.

I got it all absorbed... Not a bad idea... not sure if I'll use it, but cool idea..
I wish you could set it up for certian parts of the web page, not just the whole page.. for instance, I would like to monitor the freeride section of PWCtoday only... can I do that??

SBT doesn't have rss enabled on pwctoday.
But, yes you can do that using some extras on the url.
&forumids=1,2,3,4 <<<<add that onto the rss url and include whichever forums you want to keep up with so it would look like http://www.x-h2o.com/external.php?type=xml&forumids=1,2,3,4

Well you can use RSS for all kinds of things. For example I just set this up in a couple minutes:
http://www.protopage.com/x-h20.com
You can something similar with your My Yahoo, My MSN, Google, etc. pages as well. Really opens a lot of doors.

So how does one use Feedreader to access?
I'm trying to find a link, but i keep getting an error message from feedreader saying the site cannot be found?

It means you can read the posts sort of like a newsgroup. It works, I've never really cared for it myself though.
am i the only one that is still unclear on exactly what this is about?

If you are somebody who is surfs the web a lot for news and other information using site's RSS feeds is a huge time save and even more so when you incorporate into something like bloglines.com. For example look at my subscriptions:
http://www.bloglines.com/public/anth0ny
Now if you click one of the folder names on the left it will display all the most recent information from each site within that folder. If you click the "+" next to the folder name you can see what sites are subscribed under each and even click the sites individually if you like.
I think this displays the value as I probably have about 30 sites that it takes me about 5 minutes to browse through.
