At freestylefest this weekend, my ski slowly started to lose power, didnt know why. I found out at monroe i lost all power, couldn't start the ski and found my chamber had been cracked and it blew a hole along the weld. Sure enough steve and everyone helped me duct tape beer cans to the hole and I rode it back in one piece.
Here are some pics of the damage and the solution to all pipe problems:

I cracked a B-Pipe in a similar manner at the Texas Freeride in March...
Had it rewelded and it has been fine ever since.
My pipe was in great shape and has been modified by either Chuckie or Pat Bogart on the stinger end...

FPP will still warranty it. They say that minor denting may be required for correct fit and the chamber has a lifetime warranty. They're actually pretty good about it too.

Found this on FPP's instructions for the B pipe.
"If the chamber body is too close to anything, you can put a dent in the pipe without
adversely affecting performance or your warranty."

^^^^ Yeah someone just posted a positive feedback about Factory Pipe repairing pipes.
Gainera,
I would check the feedback section and pm the guy who had the postive experience and find out what he did to get his pipe repaired.
Just call to get the return address and tell them you are sending back a cracked chamber. Don't ask questions like 'is it covered under warrenty'? Just send it in and wait for the replacement. It takes a little while.
Are you working on your ski wearing long underwear? :ugh:

It is pretty Farkin cold out now. Its like, lower 60s, maybe even less. Either way, enough to keep me inside and out of my NON heated garage.
Im gonna have to rent a space in Lukes garage to work on my ski, then I can work on my ski in my underwear! :arms:
thats a big break....i havce seen some that can be welded, and others that cant due to the oil in the chamber...
take it to a GOOD welder...
