I am looking to upgrade my stupid 550 to a superjet in the next year or so. I would like a ski thats about 6 years old (2000 or so). I have never seen an SJ for sale close to me. my friend bought a square last year from one of the kansas guys. the closest I have seen a round nose is south TX. what would you guys expect a mostly stock ski to go for? I would like to spend about 3000. also what potential problems should I be looking for? the 550 was a $200 basket case in peices when I bought it. I want a good ski that is going to run well for I while.

I would say your all set. 3 G's should get you a nice 701 superjet.

You may want to look at Jr. MaGoos web site. He has square nose 701 superjet for sale on there. I wish he had pics of it but he will send them to you I'm sure. Shipping would not be bad and he will know how to get it there cheapest.

I think it's totally set up for freeride and the only difference is the square nose on the top deck.

If it is his motor work and endorsed by him you CAN NOT go wrong!

If not this one just keep looking in here and you will find one.

AHH:cussing:

I just checked his site and it's 3500 not 2500. Sorry.

It sounds like a nice ski and with him the year is not important!

most any year SJ, from 90-06 will make you happier than the 550. Keep that in mind.
$3000 is a large enough budget to get a really nice one.

Check on shipping from hub to hub via forward air. I was suprised at the shipping rate when I had a complete hull, hood, & pole shipped from NJ to North Fl for only $125. :arms: Shipping from door to door is where they really stick it to you, check on Hub to hub.

I would stay away from 650 sj's. Round or sqares are reliable and fun. I believe 95-present are the 701's. Unless someone has already swapped a 701 into an earlier model. Aftermarket poles, stainless props and b-pipes are also good mods to have. Those 3 parts are alot of money if purchased seperately.

I know I want a round for the 701 and I want to be able to add a new hood and what not when money allows. not to mention they look alot better imo.

I have recieved several calls about pics of the 90 the last few days. I just took a few & will try to get them on the site tomorrow. The asking is $3500.
call me & lets talk if you are intrested. I also just picked up a 04 SJ. those at Daytona saw this one behind my trailer. Once I brought it home & cleaned it up, gave it a little shine on the outside. It's like new!!!!
this one is 100% stock, asking $4500 I'll have pics of that one also.

alright. If I see 2 I will let you know. Are you looking for a 96+? I am not officially in the market yet so anyhting that comes up between now and then is yours.

I don't need any more jeeps. Do you have 2 or are you done with them for now?

I'm just looking for a good deal on one. Preferably a roundnose (so I've been told).

I have 2 jeeps, neither are really impressive. The one my brother is driving to school now is a 92 yj hardtop, just has 30's and an aftermarket top, some lights.

The Willy's is a restoration project. It's on blocks now, just waiting for me to put the wheels back on.
