thanksgiving get together nov.18th

ok i do this every year

when:
sat. nov. 18th

where:
this year the clubhouse in the park
south grand rapids, mi

what:
party and get together for everyone who wants to attend
beer/ college ball/ plenty of food!

we started doing this about 3 years ago....everyone is always busy with their family's on thanksgiving day...so we started having "a friends thanksgiving" the sat. before...and seeings how i consider everyone here family..exept you moon....:haha: ....
basically what i do is deep fry 2 or 3 birds and make most of the usual fixings..patatoes, gravy, corn, etc. etc. all i ask if anyone wants to attend is they bring a dish to pass..

friends are just as important as family so why not get together to say thanks on a day when everyones not busy with thier immediate family.....

anyone?????

I do that with all of my friends here too. everyone is away at college most the year so when everyone comes home for thanksgiving we always get together and have a feast.

yeah we wopuldnt want any of that now....:rolleyes::biggrin: just messing with you....if i lived closer, i'd be there in a minute. Get togethers like that are a blast...especially watching the games & drinking beer afterwards. Just save me a turkey leg & bring it to Daytona in Jan...haha.
